Goal: Getting 2000+ elo

How its gonna happen, things I need to keep in mind, rules I will have to follow

- Focus on playing few key - heroes really good
- Focus on playing one role really good (mid)
- Don't start games that you will probably loose
- Don't play if you loose 2-3 times in a row, take a 2-3 hour break
- Be positive and friendly, say GL HF in the start of the game, add few smileys
- Track objectives and get in the habit of posting when baron, dragon and buffs are spawning
- Have a contingency strategy (know what will happen if you engage and think few steps ahead, learn all the different possibilities and even if you die, let it be a calculated risk instead of unconscious impulse)
- Teamplay is = or > than individual skill, try to organize the team and make the strategy in a fun and friendly way
- Start streaming after reaching 1500 elo, the viewership will probably give me a mental boost to keep on winning
- Watch streams of pro mid players and learn from them
- Buy the "best" solo mid heroes like ORIANA, Cassiopea, Kassadin
- Be friends with cool players that have a positive attitude
- Have a micro and a macro strategy, know who is gonna win lategame, early game, know when you have an advantage and when you need to play aggressively or passively.

The 10 Biggest Mistakes In LOL

1) Quiting too early
This has been the problem since DOTA 5.84c, people just quit way too early. They 5 die times and they think the game is over... If they just gave their best and played to the end at least 20% of the games that seemed "lost" would end up being victories. Plus these are the most interesting games to play.

2) Getting Greedy
OMG just one more hit... ONE MORE HIT! Come here! Damn I am dead... 30...29...28...

3) Getting Angry and Playing With Emotions Instead OF BRAINS
RadomGuy#234: MY TEAM **** NOOB, say miss ! F - you then you go and die again.

4) Leaving LINES EMPTY
All that gold and EXP gone in oblivion. Always have someone on the sides, if they are pushing early mid, take 3 heroes should defend MID and the 2 should farm on the sides with wards for safety.

5) Not changing lines or helping your team when they get owned
This is a big one... If you die more than 2 times in a line you will get significantly weaker than the enemy heroes and they will totally dominate your line. It is important that you ask for help or change the line.

6) Getting TOO FOCUSED ON MINIONS and FARMING (when you shouldn't)
Some people just keep on farming, 50 minutes of farming while their team is getting pawned, then when they finally decide to engage in a battle the opposing team is simply too strong and the game ends.

7) Playing TOO AGGRESSIVELY
Sometimes you can control a line and have the opposing team standing at the towers. However it is not smart to play too aggressively since you can easily make a mistake and loose your advantage. If you are controlling... keep your cool and let them make a mistake.

The Best tactic here is just to be chill and to pull the creeps towards your tower so you can limit the experience the enemy champions are getting.

8) NOT watching The MAP
guy1: SAY MISS
guy2: read chat man ...
guy1: sorry, I didn't see
Hmm there are no enemy heroes on the map, I guess I will go solo and farm a bit... Shit... Run for your life ... Damn I am dead 30..29..28...

9) Poor Farming Skills
It is easy to win when you are getting 3x times more gold than your opponents. 112 minions are spawned up the 10th minute mark. That is roughly equal to 2500 gold + you gain 1.4 gold per second and that means that only around 700 gold is gained automatically in those 10 minutes.

10) Bad hero combinations (no variety)
If you don't have a tank you will be easy targets and you wouldn't be able to initiate battles.
If you don't have a stunner/silence you will have a hard time killing the casters.
If you don't have a mage in your team the opponents can easily focus on armor
IF you don't have a fighters in your team then the opponents can easily focus on magic resistance
